Daria comment:

“The director’s comment on her success: „I am extremely happy to be representing our school at the American Academy in such a prestigious competition as the Student Oscars. I am very grateful to all my teachers – faculty and externs –  who supported me and offered advice during  various stages of my film‘s development, from writing the script to the final cut. I thank very much Studio FAMU for their space, equipment, and generosity and especially for their trust. And I am especially grateful to the school management and my department for the absence time pressure and  allowing me the possibility to devote all my attention and work the whole year round to one film only. My film came into existence thanks to the inspirational atmosphere and professional conditions at this particular school. And many thanks to MAUR film for co-production and gentle introduction into the world of professional filmmaking“, says Daria Kashcheeva.
