The short film I Died in Irpin, directed by Anastasiia Falileieva and produced by Maurfilm, has received a nomination for the 2025 Czech Film Critics’ Award in the category of Best Short Film.
This year, the most nominations went to the dramas Father by Tereza Nvotová and Choirmaster by Ondřej Provazník, each with six nominations. Significant success was also achieved by the poetic road movie Caravan by Zuzana Kirchnerová, which received four nominations. The awards ceremony will take place on February 7 at Prague’s ARCHA+ venue.
The film I Died in Irpin has also been shortlisted among 15 animated short films advancing to the next round of voting for nominations for the upcoming 98th Academy Awards®.
