Czech animation once again had a presence at the prestigious Annecy International Animation Film Festival, held in June in the French Alps. This year, the feature-length film Tales from the Magic Garden was selected for the Contrechamp competition section. It was the only feature film from Central and Eastern Europe to be included in any of the feature-length selections.
The Perspectives section also featured the short film Atomik Tour by director Bruno Collet, created as part of an international co-production involving Maurfilm and the French producer Vivement Lundi!
