Laurels on the poster for Fritzi – a Revolutionary Tale are multiplying

Even though the co-production movie Fritzi – a Revolutionary Tale – premiered in 2019, it is still traveling worldwide winning favour with new viewers. There is a need to remind the child audience of events of 1989 and animation is proving to be the right way to do it.

In 2020 Fritzi – a Revolutionary Tale was selected by festivals such as Cinanima, Gaztefilm Fest, Anifilm in Liberec, VAF Viborg and IKFF Mumbai. The team behind the movie reaped prestigious awards from, among others, German film critics, at Iranian ICFF Tehran, Pilsen Juniorfest and German ITFS Stuttgart (and many others). The European Children´s Film Association awarded the film the Fern Flower Award at its Kids Kino IFF and nominated the movie for the best feature film for children and youth of 2020.
