COMPANY MAUR film
MAUR film Ltd Company has been established in 2003, after succesfull distribution of film Fimfarum Jana Wericha. In 2006 MAUR film produced new
feature length film Fimfarum 2 - the only one feature animated movie realized in the Czech Republic and distributed in classical cinema distribution (Prize
for the Best Feature - Length Film Anifest 2006, Prize of City Trebon - Anifest, Mayor´s Prize of European film smiles 2006, Berlinale Official Competition etc.
In 2007 MAUR film produced One Night in A City by director Jan Balej. Aa feature-length film consisting of several stories which combines poetic fantasies
and humor but also sorrow and nostalgia. The stories are about solitude, about hidden, and often unrealized desire for secret dreams, friendship, presence
of someone close, for finding one´s place in this world...
One Night in A City was very successful film during festivals all over the world (The Golden Reel in Tiburon, USA; The Special Prize of Jury in Animabasauri,
Spain; The Grand Prix Mostra Lisboa, Portugal.etc.).
Base orientation of MAUR film in animation is traditional stop frame animation of drawings and puppets, but one of the prepareted projects will be planed in 3D.

Fimfarum - all good things are three // The Little Fish Girl // Biofilm // Dad´s Eleven // The Metamorphosis
Since 2006 is MAUR film the member of the Audiovisual Producers' Association (APA).
